CPA Continuing Education Course Focuses on Behavioral Finance; Interactive Presentation to be Led by Sabal Trust’s Gerry Lachnicht, CFA
SARASOTA, Fla. (August 10, 2013) – Gerry Lachnicht, CFA, principal at Sabal Trust, will present a continuing education course to the Gulf Coast Chapter of FICPA (Florida Institute of CPAs) at the USF Sarasota-Manatee Auditorium, Tuesday, September 10 at 4:30 p.m.
Lachnicht’s presentation, “Why We Do What We Do When We Invest…and How to Stop,” will interactively discuss behavioral traits that negatively impact financial decision making and identify solutions to help avoid behavior traps.
Gerry Lachnicht is a principal at Sabal Trust, the largest employee-owned trust and investment management company in Florida; and a former adjunct professor of finance with Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Fla.
