Matt Livesay

Matt joined Sabal Trust after spending 10 years as a practicing attorney counseling families regarding the preservation and transfer of their wealth over multiple generations. As a Principal at Sabal Trust, Matt leads the development and implementation of estate, wealth transfer, tax, philanthropic, and fiduciary planning activities, and he advises clients on a variety of wealth planning matters.

During his legal career, Matt’s practice focused on estate planning, taxation, business law, and matters involving the administration of trusts and estates. His experience includes formulating comprehensive estate plans for high-net-worth individuals and families.

Matt attained his Juris Doctor and LL.M in Taxation from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2013. Matt graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Florida State University.

Born and raised in suburban Chicago (Arlington Heights), Matt is an avid Chicago sports fan.
